Singer-songwriter Donna Creighton was born mid-winter in the Ottawa Valley, the fourth of five kids in a family of Scottish, Belgian, English and French heritage. Her DNA is 100% storyteller and songmaker.

Donna has received multiple London Music Awards and Jack Richardson Music Awards. She is a Canadian Folk Music Award nominee and a Great American Songwriting Competition finalist. After a decade signed to Borealis Records with indie trio Sirens, Donna Creighton launched her solo career. She has performed alongside Bruce Cockburn, Valdy, Bruce Guthro, Parachute Club, Fred J. Eaglesmith, Don Ross, Philosopher Kings, Lisa Loeb, and Trent Severn.

Performances on the theatre stage include singing and acting roles with Orchestra London, AlvegoRoot Theatre, and Pendas Productions. In 2014, Donna premiered Northern Daughter, a one-woman play with music, which she spent the better part of a decade developing with mentors like Governor General’s Award winning playwright, Vern Thiessen, who calls Donna “talented, smart, and funny as hell.”
